There are a lot of changes and adjustments in the world of technology every day, especially pocket ones that can affect our daily communication or habit of using a smartphone in the easiest way.
Certain smartphone manufacturers have decided to give up on Android technology and create their own operating system. Some of them, but not all, include Huawei, Microsoft, Alcatel etc., but it is not just limited to them, it can vary in geographic location and continents, such as Asia that occasionally has certain restrictions on this matter.
This simply means that their interface will be a bit different and in most cases, they will not own or use any of the popular app stores, such as PlayStore or AppStore.
Virgin Pulse mobile app is currently running on both, however there is always a solution in this type of scenarios, so we have have included instructions on how to download our app on phones that do not have access to mentioned stores.
In case you would like to download Virgin Pulse app on a different OS, please follow these steps.
1. Open Settings on your smartphone and tap or search for Security category.
2. Go through options until you locate "Unknown Sources" and toggle-on to enable it.
(In case you do not want to keep that setting, you can toggle-off after the installation is completed)
3. Open your phone browser and enter http://chinaapk.virginpulse.com in URL field.
4. Once you hit enter, it should initialize download immediately to your phone storage.
5. After it gets downloaded, open My Files > Downloads from your app list or pull the download confirmation from your Notifications list.
6. Tap on it and in case any pop-up shows up, approve it, so it can start with installation.
7. Once installation is complete, you should see Virgin Pulse app in your list of apps.
8. Open it and log in to your account.
That should be sufficient to use Virgin Pulse app on your smartphone.
