What are the compatible devices for the Virgin Pulse mobile application?

The free Virgin Pulse app is designed to work with the Virgin Pulse program and the Max activity tracker. The app takes the core features of the program and puts them at your fingertips for on-the-go healthy living! The Virgin Pulse mobile app is compatible with iOs devices and Android phones.

  • iPhone (5 or above), iPod Touch (5 or above), operating on iOS 9.0 and above
  • Android devices operating on 4.3 (Jellybean) or above

For iOs, all devices running on the iOs 9.0 operating system or above will be compatible with the Virgin Pulse mobile application. iPhones 5S and above can use the app to track their step activity. For Android, the following phones will work with the Virgin Pulse mobile app (if they are using a supported operating system listed above):

  • Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5 S6, S7, and S7 Edge
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4
  • HTC One M7
  • HTC One M8
  • LG G3 and G4
  • Moto-X (1st Generation)
  • Moto-G (2nd Generation)
  • Google Nexus 5, 6, and 6P

Step tracking is only supported on the following Android devices:

  • Samsung Galaxy S4, S5 and S6
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4
  • Google Nexus 5, 6 and 6P
  • LG G3 and G4
  • Moto-X (1st Generation - Style and Pure versions cannot track steps)

If your Android device is not listed above, it may still work with the Virgin Pulse mobile application if it is operating on one of the supported operating systems; however, accurate step tracking is not officially tested and supported.
