What are Pre-Bedtime Activities?

A pre-bedtime activity is something that you do within the two hour window (known as the "Pre-Bed Window") before going to sleep. Virgin Pulse has identified the following five activities that may negatively affect your sleep quality when done too close to your bedtime:

  • Moderate/vigorous exercise
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
  • Heavy or spicy foods
  • Screen time (TV, computer, mobile device)

With the Virgin Pulse Sleep Guide, you can journal your pre-bedtime activities to uncover patterns and trends between how well you slept and these activities.

Check out the "How do I add Pre-Bedtime Activities?" article to learn how to add these activities to your pre-bed window. Please note, the Sleep Guide must be offered by your sponsor in order for you to be able to access it.
