You may have noticed a new alert, “Hot, Hot, Hot”, check here for the latest and greatest new features available in your program!

New to 2016, members uploading their steps from a device will trigger the “My Steps” Healthy Habit. When you upload your steps, if you have not tracked 3 Healthy Habits, you will be rewarded for both the amount of steps taken as well as completing the “My Steps” Healthy Habit.

Healthy Habits challenges are here! Invite your friends to a bit of friendly competition and see who can consistently take the stairs up to the office or get the recommended amount of sleep. A variety of Healthy Habit challenges are available, go to the Challenge Dashboard and click “Create a Challenge”. You can scroll through the full list and pick one that is right for you and your friends.

Invite Your Friends and Family to Virgin Pulse (You will see this feature as your employer makes it available):

We have expanded the scope of Friends to include Friends outside of your company!

You can now invite up to 10 of your outside friends and family to join you in the Virgin Pulse program in addition to your co-worker Friends. If you invited friends and family to your old Virgin Pulse program, you will need to re-invite them to this program. Friends must be 14 years of age or older. Those 10 friends will only be able to see you and the others you invited from outside of your company, not your work friends.

Just go to the My Friends section under the Community tab and then click on the Add Friends button. There, you can view suggested friends, find friends by name, and invite friends outside of your organization. Enter your friend’s names and email addresses on this page. This will generate an automatic email inviting them to join the program. You can even gift your friend a tracking device, if you’d like. Invite your friends and family outside the company and let the games begin!

 

 

Virgin Pulse Mobile App Updates:

Make sure that your daily cards are geared toward what you like! The new mobile app feature allows you to select your own interests, just like you can do on the website. Navigate to the daily cards and click “Set My Interests” at the bottom of the screen, and toggle interests on/off. It’s that easy! Your daily cards are now customized to your interests.

Challenge Updates:

Have you joined a featured or personal challenge lately? You are now able to post photos within the chat box on the challenge details page. Send an encouraging picture to a fellow participant or share a photo of the trail you walked over the weekend. Post a picture today!

 

If you haven’t joined a challenge yet, create one of your own. You can now earn rewards each month for creating a personal challenge.
