If you are an iPhone user and you track the steps with a Samsung Gear, unfortunately, this article will not be helpful for you since Virgin Pulse only pulls the Samsung Gear steps from Android smartphones.
If you are an Android user, please follow the instructions below to connect Samsung Gear to Virgin Pulse:
- Open the Virgin Pulse app.
- Tap on the icon of three horizontal lines in the top left corner of the Home screen.
-In the left margin of the screen, tap on "Devices & Apps".
- Locate "Samsung Health" and tap on "Connect".
- Once Samsung Health is connected, your Android steps should start flowing to your Virgin Pulse account.
Which data transfers to Virgin Pulse?
Samsung Gear only transfers Steps.
Steps from Samsung Gear and Smartphone tracking will show as "Android" steps on your Virgin Pulse profile. The highest amount (of the two tracking sources) will show on the app and you will be rewarded for that.
