How to delete an app on your iPhone

In this article, you can learn how to delete third-party apps installed on your iPhone.

Delete an app

1. Touch and hold the icon of an app that you want to remove.
   
2. A small drop-down menu will appear. Please tap Remove App. 
3. Tap Delete.

If you are not able to delete apps from the home screen, you can remove them from the Settings too:

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap General.
3. Tap [Device] Storage.
4. Find and select the app you want to delete.
5. Tap Delete app.
6. Tap Delete to confirm that you want to delete the app.
