How to earn rewards for Biometrics Follow
Biometric values are important measures of a person’s health status, and are a key component of a holistic well-being program. Keeping track of your biometric measurements is helpful to identify risk factors, create a more personalized program, set and reach personal goals, and to track and improve your health.
There are multiple ways to earn points for tracking your biometric measurements in the Virgin Pulse program. The number of points for each reward and how often you can earn it is specific to your sponsor, so for the most accurate list of rewards available for biometrics, check the Rewards page on your member's website.
- Self-Entered Measurements: Self-enter your weight measurement using the "Track Your Weight" Healthy Habits tracker and earn these points once per month. Please note; If you already took validated measurements for the month, this reward will not be added.
- Take validated measurements: Measure and save your weight measurement and/or blood pressure using a validated Virgin Pulse Health Station and earn these points once per month. Please note; If you previously self-entered a measurement within the month prior to taking your validated measurement, this reward will decrease by the number of points you earned for the self-entered measurement.
- Ideal or Improved Body Mass Index: Measure and save your weight measurement using a validated Virgin Pulse Health Station with a BMI measurement within the ideal range, or categorically improved BMI measurement from a previous value, and earn these points once per month.
- Ideal or Improved Blood Pressure: Measure and save your blood pressure measurement using a validated Virgin Pulse Health Station with blood pressure within the ideal range, or categorically improved blood pressure from a previous value, and earn these points once per month.
